Women Are Changing the Car Buying Experience
Can we all agree the only assumption that should be made about female car buyers is that they are tech-savvy and switched on individuals? Yes? Good. Because that’s exactly how we see them here at Yes Loans.
Women buy more than 50 percent of cars in Australia and are most likely to have the final say or influence over 80 per cent of decisions when it comes to buying a vehicle.
They also undertake just as much if not more research than their male counterparts. If anything can be learned from this dynamic it’s that women know exactly what they want.
Even so, many women are unsure about how to organise the right kind of car finance. We thought we’d make a list of the top 8 car financing questions we’re most often asked by our female clientele.
Q. Can I buy privately or do I have to go through a dealership?
You are free to purchase a car from whoever or wherever you choose and as part of our service, we will check to see if the vehicle has ever been written off, stolen or if it has money owing on it.
Q. Do you have a service that can help me find the right car?
Yes we do. We have a car broker that will assist you at no charge and will even go to a dealership and negotiate on your behalf or bring the car to your home.
Q. Do I need to have a deposit?
Oftentimes no, but one may be required depending upon your previous credit history or the value of the vehicle being financed.
This is something that we can negotiate with the lender on your behalf.
Q. Can you beat bank interest rates?
Yes. In most cases we can beat the banks rates.
Q. Can Yes Loans help me get finance even after the bank has said no?
Yes, in most cases we can provide loans that the banks won’t, loans that allow you to prove your ability to repay a loan and re-establish your credit rating.
Even if you have had problems in the past, are re-entering the workforce after a long absence or have been left with debt from a relationship breakdown due to other factors beyond your control.
We will look at your circumstances and help to find the best option for you.
These loans may come with a higher interest rate, but on the plus side, after 12 months of on time payments we can (in most cases) refinance at a lower rate.
Q. Do your loans come with a fixed or variable interest rate?
The interest rate on our car loans is fixed, but reducible. This means there’ll be no rate rises and you’ll pay less in interest over the life of the loan if you choose to put additional money towards your normal fortnightly or monthly repayment.
Q. Can you help if I am self-employed?
Our low doc loans are a popular choice among self-employed professionals who have an ABN and are looking for pre-approval but do not have the necessary financial paperwork documents on hand.
Q. Are you licensed and Police Cleared.
Yes. Our brokers all have Police Clearances and we have a Finance Brokers License issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). Our Australian Credit License Number is 392426.
We pride ourselves in acknowledging the needs of our female clientele and will work with you to ensure your next car buying and financing experience is a positive one — because at Yes Loans, We Say Yes More Often!
